This is a four layer cake, well filled with a great ratio between sponge and filling.
The selection of chocolate bars is your choice. You can make it as opulent as you like with Lindt, Toblerone and Ferrero Rocher or you can keep it simpler, it would still be impressive and exciting.

During lockdown, my husband and I wanted to surprise our daughter, who lived ten miles away, with something special for her birthday.
